I am not a born Parisian. I arrived in this city more than 25 years ago. I met him and we tamed each other. So I have been photographing him ever since.

I am attracted by its streets and alleys, by its passages and bridges, and occasionally grumpy but always hospitable residents. Paris is a city with a life that is alive and active around-the-clock, continually changing its appearance but remaining consistently the same. In these 25 years of photographing the streets of Paris, I have made more than 50,000 images, I have spent hundreds of hours walking these streets and I have the impression that it will never be enough to describe all that this city has to offer and to show.
